Harvest is a South Asian chapter of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship at The University of Houston. We are dedicated to studying the Bible, growing in community, and celebrating South Asian culture.
Our Mission
Empowered by the Life of Jesus, we desire to live out His love at UH. Harvest's mission is to grow and foster a community where South Asian students can gather together and pursue a deeper relationship with God. Harvest hosts outreaches on the campus to share the Gospel in new ways, like asking the question "how close are you to achieving the South Asian American dream?" Harvest also has gatherings where students can get together to study the Bible and worship through music, weekly.
Small Groups
Harvest hosts weekly small groups. These are spaces for students to be in a smaller community while digging deeper in their relationship with Christ. By joining a small group you will be able to study the Bible alongside other peers and have opportunities to have fun and live life with each other.
Currently, our small groups will be hosted online through Zoom for the Fall 2020 semester

Thursday Gatherings
From large group meetings where we gather as a community to encounter Jesus through worship, teaching and fellowship to our social events like our South Asian Mixer, Harvest hosts weekly meetings every Thursday to come together as a community to grow in fellowship, faith, and our ethnic identity!
